Oh great music gods that have taken it upon themselves to move into my computer (and almost destroy everything else), I thank thee and beseech thee to keep up the good work!

The lord of the rings remix by DJ Saking and Friends made me cry it was so beautiful.

Seriously guys... I have NO idea where all this music was hiding, but I have 3 cd's full of it that just appeared out of the blue last week.

Guh! I hate it when my car breaks down and I have a couple of emergency situations that I need to rectify. >_<

The alternator on my car died, so I needed to buy that part... and then I had to buy gas for every car that I borrowed so that I could get from place to place, and then like... my phone died permanently and I had to buy a new one.

So doing that math that's... $110+ on cars and communications.

That doesn't even include my gas, food, bills, nor insurance... which all also needed to come off this paycheck.

ARGH! I hate it how expenses can sneak up on you like that. Now I'm going to have to ask Justin to cover my portion of things so that we're not late. I hate doing that.

I wish that Anime Atlantis would open up so that I could get my pay increase for working there. This current job is just barely cutting it.

so like, I had to hard-start my GPS thingie today and as the loading screen was taking it's time, I noticed a very tiny series of words located underneath the manufacturer's logo. One would naturally assume that this is the slogan, and well... it very well might be just that.

It said "we make stuff"

Nothing catchy, nothing claiming to be the first or the best. just simply "we make Stuff"

That's just awesome.

I had this weird as hell dream last night that I think you guys might appreciate.

Me and my friends were playing hide-n-seek in this like dismantled set (for a play I guess) that was located in this grand Victorian courtyard. I went to go hide and I ended up breaking something and in a panic over the thing being broken sat there and tried to fix it.

Well by the time that I got the thing fixed the seeker was already done counting and I had no time to hide, so I stood out in the open and said "screw it. I'll be next."

So the round ended and I started the countdown for the next round when people of authority (not the police, but like peers that you need to listen to for one reason or another) appeared and told us to run for our lives.

We had no idea what was going on, but we took off running like we were told to do. Somewhere along the line I realized I was running differently than everyone else and I was like, 'Oh yeah. Not everyone runs like me, Captain Jack Sparrow'. Right after that thought I ended up stopping because we reached the gate to another courtyard.

From there we could see the sky and well... it was full of space ships that were shooting people down. We were standing in shock at the sight, but then we noticed that they were only zapping people that were either useless or a burden to society.

Well... being a pirate and all I as like 'Oh crap. I'm a pirate' and thus was suddenly concerned about being disintegrated until an idea hit my mind. I would just alter my profession slightly to being that of a fisherman... so thus I would still in general do what I do best while contributing to society as opposed to pillaging it.

I announced this idea and once my crew agreed with me, I held it in me heard and knew it to be true. This allowed me and my crew to get across the courtyard safely, but we stopped when we noticed a Cylon standing in the bushes along the path to the docks.

We stopped to see if this was the end of us, or if it would let us through.

when the cylon started singing "yo ho, yo ho, ect." we cheered and continued down the path to the docks.

That's where I woke up... laughing... because that cylon was the greatest thing ever.

Print Stuffs

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I hate print work. It always takes to long to save, it always comes out wrong on the first couple of drafts. It always eats up ink and money. The file sizes are way to Fuckin huge to be any sort of easy.

And I have to do it for everyone else during my work day so I have to come back in on my days off to do my stuff.

Grrrr.....

Okay. I'm better now.

On the plus side the apartment complex that I live in now has armed security! YAY! :D

I mean seriously. There's gotta be something in the air that's making people act well.. rude (I think that this is the word that I'm looking for). I mean come on guys. I know that you have more common sense than this.

Why would you think that you could walk into your friend's house and boss their room mates around? You don't pay to live there. You don't pay for your friend to live there. Hell when you come in and impose yourself upon your friend's room mates all it does is make life harder for your friend.

I mean it's really simple to not impose. You just ask!

Just like you would ask your friend about something, ask their room mates. Chances are, they're not going to have a problem with it. If they do have a problem with whatever, then it can be worked out. It's not that big a deal.

Seriously. Common sense. Use It!

I have never had a harder time with a video project up until now with this damned JaniCon thing that I'm working on. I swear to god it's like none of these video devices can talk to each other without me first paying for like a million different programs and then I'd still have to jump through hoops to convert all the files into something that the video editors can use.

Argh! It's so aggravating!

Problems that I've run into today.
1.) SWF (Flash) movies won't convert into .MOV movies anymore for some reason

2.) 5 SWF > Video programs wouldn't convert the files like they advertised, and the 6th one that did, did so with pretty bad quality.

3.) Video files from digital camera 1 work fine

4.) Video files from digital camera 2 (same everything) won't read because they're somehow in NTSC format and premier won't read it.

5.) Video converters for NTSC to PAL format won't convert because the digital cameras won't record audio.

After all this fighting with this video I have 1 clip left to go, and the damned thing just won't let me use it... and it's an important enough clip to make me want to cry.

Someone remind me why I'm going to school for a multimedia degree again? I fucking hate this shit.

EDIT:

And I manage to get the damned NTSC file converted only to have the end result come out CORRUPT! AWESOME!

I'm going to bed.

So it looks like I got the Job at Madge Elain's. This makes me happy as hell because, after talking to Kay, this is exactly what I was looking for in a job!

As an added bonus, It seems like I'll be working on the website as well as in the store... and like... She's totally willing to let/help me go to the conventions I want to.

I'm so happy. :D

I still have to wait until Kay is ready to fit me into the schedule. The halloween season only just started, so funds are kind of low, but once things pick up she's going to have me come in.

Not sure where we're going to start. I need to get to know the store a bit better, so probably there. She does want me to go through the pictures of things that she has and like... stuff. Yeah, I'm deffinitly going to be busy while I'm there.
